Yogi government created 76th district in UP, 67 villages of three tehsils included, these officers will be DM and SP
After the notification of the new district is issued, the DM of the district will exercise all the powers of the collector in all categories of cases. 67 villages of three tehsils have been included in the new district.
For the organization of Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, the fair area has been declared a new district. The new district has been named Maha Kumbh Mela. That is, the Maha Kumbh area will have a separate DM and Police Captain. There will be separate police stations and police posts.
After the formation of a new district named Maha Kumbh Mela, the number of districts in Uttar Pradesh has now increased from 75 to 76. An additional district in the state will remain till the organization of Maha Kumbh Mela. It is worth noting that there is a tradition of issuing notification of new district on the occasion of Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh. This time Maha Kumbh is being organized in Prayagraj.
On the instructions of the government, Prayagraj DM Ravindra Kumar Mandhad has issued a notification of the notification of the new district late on Sunday evening. The Mahakumbh Mela district includes the entire parade area and 67 villages of four tehsils Sadar, Soraon, Phulpur and Karchana. The collector of the Mahakumbh Mela district will be the Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand, while Rajesh Dwivedi has already been appointed as the SSP.
After the notification of the new district is issued, the DM of the Mahakumbh district will exercise all the powers of the collector in all categories of cases. In the notification, he has also been given the rights to perform all the functions of the collector. According to the notification, 25 villages of Tehsil Sadar, three villages of Tehsil Soraon, 20 villages of Tehsil Phulpur and 19 villages of Tehsil Karchana have been included.
Along with the parade area, a total of 67 villages of four tehsils have been included in the Mahakumbh Mela district. The Mahakumbh Mela district will exist for a few days after the Mahakumbh is organized. This new district has been created temporarily. This time the Mahakumbh is being organized between 13 January and 26 February. Yogi government of UP is making special preparations for the organization of Maha Kumbh.
